East Midlands East Maths Hub is one of 40 maths hubs across England being coordinated by the NCETM. East Midlands East Maths Hub is an approachable, inclusive, and supportive community which provides a research informed approach to mathematics education across all phases.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious Maths Hub Operational Manager, to work within the East Midland Maths Hub.
About the role
This role forms a central part of the work of the Maths Hub and they will work closely with other staff to support, develop and further extend the work of the Maths Hub.
The Hub Operational Manager will lead the operational delivery of the East Midlands East Maths Hub, ensuring that programmes, events, communications, finances, data systems and stakeholder engagement are managed effectively.
The role includes line management of Hub staff, oversight of CRM and reporting systems, financial monitoring of grant-funded activity, and supporting the strategic development of the Hub.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations professional to play a key role in improving mathematics education across the region.
The successful candidate will: have experience managing and leading a team; be able to manage and distribute work effectively and efficiently; have experience with strategic planning, marketing and recruitment, managing finance and customer relations systems.
You will be enthusiastic, methodical, organised, have great interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
